Burlington Progressive Caucus!

Eligibility:

As per Vermont State Law & our bylaws, any Burlington voter can participate in our caucus that
1. is eligible to vote in Vermont
2. has not voted in another political party’s caucus for the same election
3. does not serve on the steering committee of another political party
4. agree’s with our Party’s statement of principles and platform

Our party is building a movement of working families, young people, LGBTQIA+ folks, renters, middle-class homeowners, BIPOC neighbors, New Americans, and many more. In order to better represent our community, we need your voice to help guide our push for a sustainable, livable, safe, and affordable Burlington. Join us for our upcoming caucus to hear from potential candidates, get involved in campaigns, and decide who will represent us on the City Council!

  • Candidate nominations (1 min. nomination speech)

 6:30pm-7:20pm (MC Moderated) 

  • introductory speeches (city council) 

    • 2-3 min. Intro speech 

  • Q&A from attendees & steering committee

    • If your going to make a statement or question it needs to be within 30 seconds 

7:20pm-7:30pm Flex time
